Bliss

Yesterday I went to Embun in Plaza Mont Kiara for a much needed massage. M financed the massage for me. Thanks! :) The setup of the place was ok, pretty decent. When I walked into the spa (very loosely used these days) I was greeted by the smell of lemongrass. Which is a good thing because I like lemongrass. I think my favourite scents are lemongrass, peppermint, lavender and rose.

I was treated to a nice 1 hour long foot massage (by a guy - awkward!). First a 10 minute feet soak followed by the nice gentle massage. Nice! Blissful! So peaceful and quiet. Next was the 1.5 hour traditional massage (which is very identical to Balinese I decided later) and Isty was my masseuse. I tell you, she can squash whole watermelons with her hands! While I think I suffered more than enjoyed when she was maiming my legs, the back shoulders and neck was pretty nice. Then it was the head and I think I dozed off for a bit.

After a good 2.5 hours, I would say that I was thoroughly relaxed. Except that my legs are a tad bit sore. However, I think I still prefer Energy Day Spa as their setup looks nicer (very serene), they have a nice open air patio and deck-chairs for you to read or just chill after a nice aromatheray session.
